Are zyban and weight loss linked?

If you are taking zyban or any other antidepressant medication it's quite possible that you will experience either weight loss or weight gain.

Everyone experiences different side effects from antidepressant medications.  Unfortunately, most of these side effects are negative. What people don't realize is that these drugs are in fact very toxic to the human body  

Perhaps the worst thing occurs when those who are overweight lose weight while taking antidepressant medication and view the weight loss as a positive side effect.  No doubt many people are abusing these drugs for the simple fact that they lose weight while taking them.  Unfortunately, these people don't realize that they are playing with a loaded gun.

Zyban and other antidepressant drugs have a very negative impact on your metabolism. Although you may experience weight loss while you are taking the drug, chances are very good that you will experience excessive weight gain when you stop taking it.

Excessive weight gain, along with the many other negative side effects of taking these medications is definitely a good reasons to consider other options.  At the very least, you should become well informed about the negative side effects of any medication that you are taking.
