Millions
Of Weight Loss Websites, But Who's Telling The Truth?
191,000,000.
Just
did the search at Google.
I typed in the the phrase
"weight loss".
That's how many pages there are on
the Internet that have at least something to do with the phrase weight
loss -
according to Google.
And do you believe that
the best of these weight loss websites actually display at the
top? Perhaps.
But from I've seen, and I've been doing this for the better
part of 10 years, the answer is "not really".
I
mean, it's fuzzy.
Did you know that those results
are ranked according to a variety of "technical" factors.
I mean, how dose some dumb old computer know what exact
website really is going to help you lose weight better than any other
one.
These sites are not ranked according to which
one has the most "proven" track record of helping people get results.
They
are ranked by algorithms, mathematics and equations.
"Technical" stuff.
And it's not Google's
or any other search engines fault. I mean, there's only so
much they can do. They provide a great service, but in the
end, it will never beat a "human" reasoning mind.
Here's
my
point people...
You can NOT believe everything you
read no matter how "popular" it is. I don't care if it's in
the newspaper. A book. Or on the highest visited
weight loss websites on the entire Internet.
I am
continually amazed by this. People behave much like sheep.
In this country we are supposed to be free, yet the masses
simply wants to be led.
They are looking for
somebody, anybody to lead them. (Dieters and other desperate
weight loss seekers are among the most naive.)
Case
in point...
Those big drug companies. They
know that most people treat any word that comes out of a doctors mouth
as if it came from God himself! So you see all these
emotional commercials on T.V. peddling the latest and greatest
medication ions with doctors actually recommending the product.
At the end there's always the same advice - "Talk to your
doctor to find out if xyz pill is right for you"?
Well
what if you doctor don't know shit!
Here's the
staggering thing... the amount of doctors that fall into the B.S.
category is stunning! They are among the most "stressed out",
worn out and unhealthy people on the planet. And most do not
know jack about diet, nutrition or losing weight!
Don't
get me wrong, there are many great ones out there, but there are very
very bad ones as well.
And it's no
different with all those weight loss websites getting listed when you
type
your search into the box.
I don't care how popular
they are.
Everybody and their brother believes they
are an expert on the subject these days. Anybody can throw up
a site and express there opinions. Thank God too, this is a
free country.
It just means you have to be informed.
Notice I said YOU!
Don't ever let somebody
do your thinking for you. I don't care how popular they are
or what their title is. Or what they say they know about
losing weight. Think for yourself... period!
If
you are getting all of your information from one source, then you are
NOT getting the whole story! You are simply a sheep being
led. You need to put some work in here. If you
truly need to lose weight. If you want to transform your body
in a healthy, safe way. Quickly. Then do your research.
Read through lots and lots of those weight loss websites.
Read
lots of books. Look for the success stories. The
testimonials. The "before and afters". You will begin to see
recurring patterns. You will begin to find that the same
basic things seem to actually get results for the majority.
And
the best part is, you'll be able to draw your own conclusion because
you are informed.
