Weight Loss Tea - Fact or Fiction?

The use of green tea and other herbal teas for weight loss has been a hotly debated topic.

There are those who claim that tea is a potent weapon in the fight against obesity, while others pass it off as just another weight loss fad.

So is there such a thing as weight loss tea?

If you are planning to lose weight on tea alone then prepare to be disappointed. The very term "weight loss tea" was coined by individuals who have magic pill syndrome...They believe that you can simply pop a pill (or in this case drink tea) and you will magically shed those pounds...

It's hard for some of us to believe, but magic weight loss substances don't exist!  However there are certain substances that do have significant weight loss benefits when used in conjunction with the correct program. One of those substances is in fact tea.

To understand how tea benefits your weight loss you must first understand that weight loss is an inside-out process - meaning that when you give your body what it needs on the inside, you will lose weight on the outside.

So how does tea benefit the inside?

It is a proven fact that the detoxification of your body has amazing affects on the rate at which you lose weight.  Think of your body as a system with thousands of working parts.  If that system is "gunked up" it will not run efficiently.  However, clean the system out and you will operate smoothly and lose weight quickly.  Tea is an extremely beneficial substance for cleaning out your system.  

Simply put, tea helps your metabolism function more efficient by detoxifying your body.

It's important to remember that tea alone will have little affect on your weight loss.  However, when combined with the right diet and eating habits, tea can prove to be very beneficial for weight loss.
