Best Weight Loss Foods

The question of best weight loss foods has been made much too "scientific".  

We are constantly bombarded by news and other media revealing the latest study that found "this diet has been shown to cause fast weight loss" or "stay away from that food because it will make you fat".
 
If it's your goal to experience fast fat loss than you will have far greater success if you stick to a simple diet.

And to keep it simple all you need to do is just examine the food secrets of lean, fit, healthy people.  Just find out what they eat and copy them!
 
In his book "Healthy At 100" author John Robbins discusses the differences in diets that are influenced by "western culture" and those that are not.  A western diet consists primarily of processed, empty calories.

When food is processed it loses its nutritional value and the calorie density tends to increase do to additives and preservatives like sugar.

In contrast, societies that have not conformed to western influence and retained a mostly plant-based, unprocessed, healthy food diet have almost no instance of obesity.
