- 6 shorter workouts are better than three
longer ones.
Exercising more times throughout the week keeps your body in a fat
burning mode.
- Increasing the
intensity of your
workouts can have a large impact on the amount of fat you burn. A
twenty minute workout that has you sweating and breathing heavy is
better than an hour long workout of low intensity.
- Lifting weights builds muscle
mass causing your body to burn more fat. If you do not lift
weights it may be a good time to start.
- Mixing weight lifting with cardio is a potent fat burning
combination. Start your workouts with weight lifting and end them with
cardio. Exercising in this progression
increases the rate at which your body burns fat.
- Do not over-train. If your body is wore-out it will not burn
fat at an optimal level. Keeping your workouts 30 minutes or less and
reserving one day per week for rest will keep you body from getting
over-trained.
