Toronto gal
Jason, I have been tempted to buy your program but I haven't yet. You have lots of good ideas (from what I can see) about food and I think your program makes sense. I am a 59 year old woman. I have a sluggish metabolism and take thyroid medication to keep it in the normal range. I work out three times a week. My problem is that in the past, the only way I could trigger any weight loss was when I went on a virtual starvation diet (a la Bernstein). On 800-900 calories a day, I lost 26 pounds in three months! That was 3 years ago. I have indulged in great food this year, so half my weight is back. I am ready to try to lose the weight again. Why should I believe that your program will work for me?
Jason's Answer Hey Guys,
Jason here.
Great questions Toronto Girl.
First off - the program she is referring to can be found at
http://www.naturally-lose-weight-fast.com/5-step-fat-loss-guide.htmlOk. So let me answer this by drawing from 2 very distinct portions of your comment here.
I would like to label them cause & effect.
Namely the "cause" is where you said... "My problem is that in the past, the only way I could trigger any weight loss was when I went on a virtual starvation diet (a la Bernstein)."
And the "effect" is where you said... "I have indulged in great food this year, so half my weight is back."
So here's the ultimate question...
Come close. Take notes. Cause if you get this it changes everything. And I am talking to all of you here so write like the wind blows!
Why oh why do we feel the need to "indulge"?
I will tell you why...
It is because anything founded on the principal of deprivation can only trigger conflict.
Dieting. It is built on deprivation. You deprive yourself of food. Yet your body needs food. So what happens. Conflict happens.
Will power only lasts so long and poof... the diet ends. We eat "normal" again. And all the weight comes right back. You are not alone my Toronto friend... Everyone reading this page who has a pulse can relate.
So let me ask all of you this...
What on God's green earth makes you think that taking the same approach (dieting) is going to lead to different results this time around?
It won't... period!
But hey... the dieting industry loves it when you continue in this habitual patter because they get to line their pockets. Come to think of it... they've even gotten to coin on new term - "yo-yo dieting"!
Anyway, here I go ranting again.
My point is simple... if you want new (different) results, you must do new (different) things.
You must come up with an approach to losing weight that is not build on deprivation.
Why?
Because then you'll have a program that is "sustainable". In other words... you won't feel the need to "indulge".
What you will have is a lifestyle. Something real. Something sustainable. That's the key!
Now. I've only found one way to do this... YOU MUST LEARN HOW TO EAT.
I'm talking real food. As much as your little heart contents.
Meat. Carbs. All of it.
This is sustainable. This is a lifestyle that you can follow. And this my friends is how you lose weight and never gain it back.
So in one sentence - "What makes my program different?"...
IT TEACHES YOU HOW TO EAT.
The correct times, types, and patterns.
Master that... and you will know a food freedom that you cannot possibly fathom.
Food is king. It is the beginning and end of all weight struggles... period!
Hope this answers your question Toronto Girl.
Blessings,
-Jason
P.S. Consequently - there are many books written on the amazing characteristics of certain "secluded" people. Societies that have not been influenced by "modern" food programming. The Vilcabambas are one.
It's shocking how low the instance of disease and obesity actually is.
Much of my program is based on the eating mastery of these groups.
