10 DietsLooking
for the top 10 diets?
If you answered yes, then this
will be a very interesting article for you?
How you
say?
For one simple reason...
I
am going to share with you something that guarantees you'll choose the
right one every time.
In fact, without what I'm
about to share, odds are you'll pick wrong and not lose the weight you
want.
- You'll have to put up with starving yourself!
-
You'll have to get rid of all the foods you love!
-
And you'll most likely have to count calories, skip meals and go nuts!
So
pay close attention. Listen. Because what I'm about
to share is flat-out fantastic.
You see.
The
problem with trying to find the "best" diet... or even a list of the
top 10 diets, is all in the evaluation. Meaning... How do you
know which are best? What are the criteria?
In
writing this article I ran smack into that problem.
Let's
see here...
The most popular diets are clearly the...
-
Nutrisystem
- South Beach Diet
-
Atkins Diet
- Jillian Michaels
-
Weight Watchers
- Jenny Craig
-
Sonoma
- Medifast
- Slim Fast
-
Denise Austin
Well,
Wait a
second...
Actually, there is also the...
-
Bistro MD
- Detox Diet
- Grapefruit Diet
-
Zone Diet
- Dr Siegal's
- Healthy
Living with Ellie
- Menopause Diet
Not to mention a hundreds of
popular online diets...
- Burn The Fat
-
Truth About Abs
- Master Cleanse
-
Fat Loss 4 Idiots.
Funny thing is...
You'll
find dozens of lists all containing a slightly different Top 10!
Pinning
down a clear cut list is harder than getting to work on time in rush
hour.. there's just no easy way to do it.
Some lists
evaluate based off popularity.
That is to
say... they rank each diet according to the most number of people to
use the diet. This, of-course, is rather "shady" for the
simple fact that an accurate stat doesn't exist. At least
I've never seen one.
Which brings most lists simply
down to a matter of opinion. Or money. Given the amount of
affiliates on the internet (people who promote products for money)...
you will find many diet lists a bit "skewed" to where the money flows.
Not
that this is wrong. Just a bit inconsistent.
Perhaps
the best way to create a list of the top 10 diets would be to calculate
the total amount of weight loss each diet has caused.
Wishful
thinking.
Once again... you'll soon find that no
such stat exists!
So what does all this mean then...
for you?
Well, it means that there simply isn't a
concrete answer. It appears that just throwing caution to the
wind and picking one that everyone seems to like is the best option.
But then again... if everyone jumped off
a cliff, would you follow?
It all appears so
confusing.
Unless.
What if we
think a bit "out of the box"?
What if the answer of
best diet was really that there is no right answer?
What
if the criteria were purely subjective?
Hmmm.
I do believe we are on to something here. In
fact... over the years I have witnessed it.
Stick
with me now.
The level of diet picking
accuracy that this simple criteria ensures is stunning.
Virtually ensures you pick wisely every single time.
Which means you'll be far more likely to
lose weight.
So what, you ask, is it?
Well,
it is none other that YOU.
You see, you are the
criteria. The funny thing about dieting is that there is no
"best". No "one size fits all". Each list of top 10
diets is just as accurate as the next.
That's why
there are so many options.
When I finally sat down
and thought about this it made perfect sense. "Dah"... the
little voice inside my head said.
From what I've
seen, a major reason why so many people struggle to lose weight is that
they simply try to do what everyone else is doing.... even though it
doesn't fit their lifestyle.
If you absolutely love
pizza and pasta... it makes no sense for you to go on a "low carb"
diet. Chances are you'll fail miserably.
If
you hate fruit... then why in the world would you go on the grapefruit
diet? Chances are you'll fail miserably.
I
believe you get my point.
The bottom line is...
The
best diet is the one that is best for you. When you choose
one that fits your lifestyle... has the foods you love... and more
importantly, does not drive you crazy, then your odds of losing weight
skyrocket!
Hope this helps.
