Tip # 1: Limit the sweets
You probably don't feel like you are eating that much. In fact, you probably aren't. However, if you are eating a lot of sweets or food that contain sugar then you are getting a lot of calories even though you are not eating much.

The main calorie culprits are: any kind of diet or regular soda (diet soda will make you fat), candy bars, sugar loaded cereals, desserts. These are empty calories and will collect immediately as fat if not burned off...Which leads to the next tip...

Tip # 2: Activity
Relax...Take a deep breath!  This won't be that bad.  A little exercise will go a long way for you.  Your body is already using a lot of calories to facilitate growth so you don't need to be a superstar here.  Try walking to school every day, get on the treadmill for 20 minutes, participate in athletics, basically do anything to work up a sweat.
