it necessary to sweat when I exercise to lose weight?

answer may shock you.
Take a look at the little
"question/follow-up" I posted below. I was up to my old
tricks again. You know, browsing through blogs and posting
dynamite answers. The kind that I should be charging
thousands of dollars for.
Anyway, I won't let it go
to my head any more than it already has.

Great
question. The answer is no. It is NOT necessary to
sweat when you exercise to lose weight. In fact, there are
many people who don't sweat when they exercise. I'm talking
hardly a drop! But many of them get even better results than
those who do.
Here's the main thing that will
determine how fast you lose weight when you work out... the exercise
TYPE. (Actually there is one more... the INTENSITY you
exercise.)
Get this...
From my
research I've found that most of the time people who focus on gaining muscle mass when they exercise don't sweat as much as those who do nothing but
cardio... but they seem to get exponentially greater results.
Everyone
has their own opinion, but I'd place my money on the muscle development
any day. (Of course, I had
to add the "everybody has there own opinion "politically correct" mumbo
jumbo in there" so I don't get kicked off the blog... but truth is -
while everyone may have there own opinion, most are just flat-out
WRONG! Muscle development is king when it comes to losing
weight and keeping it off!)
