5 Steps To Losing Weight Permanently

Yet very few people every do.  There are many reason for this, but I do believe that one of the greatest is that they lack a simple step-by-step plan.

From what I've seen, if you lack the right steps to losing weight, then losing weight tends to be pretty hard.

So here's what I'm going to do in today's article.  I am going to take an in depth look at what I believe to be the 5 best steps to use.  Now, there are several reasons I feel this way, but for the most part, I tend to side with these steps because...

- They are easy.

- They work fast.

- They are safe.

- They do not require dieting.

- The results are permanent.

If you have read my posts in the past, then one thing becomes very evident - I just can't stand dieting!

Listen all you naive dieters out there pointlessly starving yourselves and cutting calories, dieting is NOT permanent.  You can't keep it up so the results won't last... period!

That's the great part about these 5 steps to losing weight, there's no dieting.  No hunger.  No skipping meals or counting calories.  In fact, pretty much the opposite is true.  You will find that you are able to eat way more food and still get great results.

Results that stay off!

So, let's jump into these here.  And please allow me to guiltlessly confess that each of these 5 come from the Natural Approach system.  I wrote it a while back and still very much believe in it.  So you can think of this as a bit of an "in depth" preview.

Let's begin with the steps to losing weight...

Step 1.  Hydration

People tend to forget that their body is virtually all water.

Water plays a role in everything that takes place within the body.  You can think of it as oil.  Much like your car, water just makes everything run smoothly.

I know this sounds really simple, and it is, but each and every day you just want to make sure that you are constantly putting water into your system.  It's the foundation.

Seriously, I can't make it any more clear than that o' chubby one - drink water!

Step 2.  Nutrition

This is the single greatest of all the steps to losing weight.

An entire book could be written on nutrition alone.  From what I've seen, those who get the best results know how to eat the right foods at the right times.

Now.  I'm not going to list everything here.  If you want to have it all laid out for you then you'll just have to get The Natural Approach.  But what I'm going to do is share with you a huge secret.

The secret is wrapped up in what I call "the apple to apple comparison".

Let me explain by posing an interesting little question...

Is an apple really an apple?

From the outside it all looks the same, but what you'll come to realize is that looks can be deceiving.  Very deceiving.  What really makes an apple is what it's made of.  

Did you get that?

An apple that's been grown using pesticides and other chemicals will most certainly contain those chemicals on the inside.  These are what mess-up your hormones and make you fat.

On the other hand, an apple that has been grown naturally is pure and makes your body sing songs of pure ecstasy!

The point is... you want to make sure that all the food you eat is naturally grown.  Even organic.  It's the greatest of all steps to losing weight.

Now, there are definitely certain types of foods that are by far the best, and knowing these makes a huge difference, but the most important part is making sure your food does not contain the chemicals.

Listen guys.  Be ruthless here.  Your body is at stake!

Step 3.  Eating habits

Ok.  So we've discussed nutrition. That's the actual food.  But knowing the food is not enough, you must also know how to eat the food.  This includes the right TIMES and the right INTERVALS.

I give a very simple and wildly effective plan for this in the book.  Here's a good part of it.

What you want to do is space your meals (5 or 6... even 7) about 2.5 hours apart and make sure that you are eating something at each 2.5 interval throughout the day.  As the day wears on, you want to decrease your starchy carb intake (pasta, bread) so that you're basically consuming protein (animal or plant for you cultish non-meaters) and veggies.

Simple, yes.  But this is one of the steps to losing weight that takes the most discipline.

Step 4.  Exercise

Listen.  I'm not going to explain much here because it's such a vast topic.

What you need to know is that there are six secrets to maximizing any exercise that you choose.  I don't really care what it is.  You want to make sure you are getting the biggest "bang for your buck".

It's really eye opening stuff for most people.  Especially the morning stuff that I talk about.

Anyway, let me briefly list one of them.

Now, this is simple.  Very simple.  So simple in fact, that most will turn up their noses.  But don't let your misguided skepticism ruin you here because this is powerful.

The secret is intensity.

In other words... you need to "pick up the pace".  

Intensity alone is way more powerful than the actual amount of time you exercise.  It triggers hormonal changes and just flat-out burns more calories.

So the next time you exercise, make sure you are working up a good sweat.

Step 5.  Consistency

What you want to do is follow all these steps to losing weight each day.  From the second you wake up in the morning, to when you lay your head on your pillow at night.

Be consistent.  It's usually what separates the ones who get great results from the ones who just keep struggling and complaining wondering why nothing works.

Hey "dumb-dumb", if you don't use it it won't work!

Most people start out fast, but then they fizzle.  Remember this... when it comes to losing weight, it's all about lifestyle.  If you follow the right steps, then there is no need to "take a day off" or "go on a bing".  These are responses caused by dieting.

Remember, you are not dieting anymore.  You can keep these steps to losing weight up because they are just so easy to follow.
