Let's begin with the steps to losing weight...
Step 1. Hydration
People tend to forget that their body is virtually all water.
Water
plays a role in everything that takes place within the body. You
can think of it as oil. Much like your car, water just makes
everything run smoothly.
I know this sounds really simple, and
it is, but each and every day you just want to make sure that you are
constantly putting water into your system. It's the foundation.
Seriously, I can't make it any more clear than that o' chubby one - drink water!
Step 2. Nutrition
This is the single greatest of all the steps to losing weight.
An
entire book could be written on nutrition alone. From what I've
seen, those who get the best results know how to eat the right foods at
the right times.
Now. I'm not going to list everything

Let me explain by posing an interesting little question...
Is an apple really an apple?
From
the outside it all looks the same, but what you'll come to realize is

An

Step 3. Eating habits
Ok.
So we've discussed nutrition. That's the actual food. But
knowing the food is not enough, you must also know how to eat the food.
This includes the right TIMES and the right INTERVALS.
I give a very simple and wildly effective plan for this in the book. Here's a good part of it.
What
you want to do is space your meals (5 or 6... even 7) about 2.5 hours
apart and make sure that you are eating something at each 2.5 interval
throughout the day. As the day wears on, you want to decrease
your starchy carb intake (pasta, bread) so that you're basically
consuming protein (animal or plant for you cultish non-meaters) and
veggies.
Simple, yes. But this is one of the steps to losing weight that takes the most discipline.
Step 4. Exercise
Listen. I'm not going to explain much here because it's such a vast topic.
What
you need to know is that there are six secrets to maximizing any
exercise that you choose. I don't really care what it is.
You want to make sure you are getting the biggest "bang for your
buck".
It's really eye opening stuff for most people. Especially the morning stuff that I talk about.
Anyway, let me briefly list one of them.
Now,
this is simple. Very simple. So simple in fact, that most
will turn up their noses. But don't let your misguided skepticism
ruin you here because this is powerful.
The secret is intensity.
In other words... you need to "pick up the pace".
Intensity
alone is way more powerful than the actual amount of time you exercise.
It triggers hormonal changes and just flat-out burns more
calories.
So the next time you exercise, make sure you are working up a good sweat.
Step 5. Consistency
What
you want to do is follow all these steps to losing weight each day.
From the second you wake up in the morning, to when you lay your
head on your pillow at night.
Be consistent. It's usually
what separates the ones who get great results from the ones who just
keep struggling and complaining wondering why nothing works.
Hey "dumb-dumb", if you don't use it it won't work!
Most
people start out fast, but then they fizzle. Remember this...
when it comes to losing weight, it's all about lifestyle. If you
follow the right steps, then there is no need to "take a day off" or
