Juicing
For Weight LossDoes juicing for weight loss work?
The answer is yes.
In fact... it can be just the boost that you are looking for. In this article I'll explain three very specific reason why.
1. Nutrient intake
For
the most part... the vast majority of people are overweight not because
they eat too much, but because of a nutrient deficiency.
Sounds crazy I realize, but I will explain.
When you eat food over many years that has been heavily processed, your body will become nutrient deficient.
The reason is that heavily processed food is greatly depleted in.
So
when your body gets this way your metabolic function is greatly impeded
and you process food very poorly leading to weight gain.
When a person begins juicing for weight loss the body tends to respond very favorably do to enhanced nutrient intake.
2. Detoxification
The bottom line is that juice... especially from certain types of fruits like berries... is loaded with antioxidants.
Naturally,
when you drink juice these antioxidants go into your system and remove
toxins. This improves digestion, waste elimination and all around
metabolic function.
As a result your body is able to lose weight.
3. Reduced calorie consumption
Most people who begin juicing don't feel as hungry as often.
As a result they do not feel the urge to eat as much.
Remember, hunger is more than not a sign of nutrient deficiency not "lack of food".
So when you juice you begin to get the nutrients and as a result you don't have to eat as much to get filled up.
Now. There are certainly many other reason why juicing for weight loss works so good.
Here are my thoughts...
If
you are going to begin seriously juicing then you should invest in a
good machine. Something like a Jack Lalanne power juicer.
I have one and it works great.
It's easy to use. The only thing is it can be a bit messy. But nothing to bad.
Next.
You are going to need a lot of different fruits and vegetables.
Trust me, it takes a lot to make on glass of juice. You
will be surprised.
I would also make sure my produce is organic because it is way more natural and healthy.
Then, I would ease my way into it.
Don't begin completely living on juice.
Simply start juicing once or twice a day and then work your way up until you are getting results that you want.
