The Truth About Herbs for Weight Loss


If you're thinking about using herbs for weight loss, then this will be one of the most important articles you'll read.

Here's why.  I'm going to share with you the truth about herbal methods including...

Have you noticed that...

The use of herbs for weight loss has received a lot of extra attention lately?

There are suddenly "herbal" companies springing up everywhere, trying to capitalize on this new "miracle" weight loss method.

But, is herbal weight loss deserving of all the hype?

There are many different herbs available.

However, when it comes to weight loss, we generally think of herbs falling into three basic categories:
  • Appetite suppressants - decrease appetite
  • Metabolism Boosters - increase metabolic rate
  • Diuretics - promote water loss

People have sought after herbs as if they were the magic pill that would immediately solve all of their weight loss problems.

A prime example of this was ephedra.  A metabolism booster.

A few studies showed that ephedra promoted fat burning and it instantly was dubbed the "cure".

However, since then, ephedra has been banned do to its harmful affects on the body when used in substantial doses.

There have even been a few deaths linked with the stuff!

Now.  I don't fully believe that the product alone was the root cause.  (Common sense has to be figured in somewhere.)

All I'm saying is that if a product claims to be magic. No matter what it is.  You should be skeptical.

Now please don't get me wrong...

This is not meant to discourage anybody from the use of herbs.

Some herbs are very beneficial for weight loss and amazing for your health too.

Herbs like...
  • Hoodia

And others have all been scientifically shown to enhance results.

But without the use of a proper diet and workout routine they will most likely do you no good.

That my friends, is just common sense.

The of herbs alone will never take the place of the fundamentals.
