part to
the food choices
you have made.
And you say "Tell me something I don't know..."
What
you probably don't know is that your doctor's recommendation might not
be the best...
I realize this might come as a surprise given the immortal
status that
we place on individuals with Dr. in front of their name, but after all,
they are only human...
Chances are your doctor recommended that you lose weight and
consume a
diet low in fat and cholesterol. Your doctor most likely also
recommended that you take certain medications. Perhaps Lipitor
or some other cholesterol lowering drug.
Don't get me wrong, losing weight is an excellent choice, the
only problem with this recommendation is that you can consume a diet
low in
fat and cholesterol that is still complete junk! In fact,
you can lose weight on such a diet and still be completely unhealthy!
And the medications that your doctor has suggested will do
absolutely nothing to treat the true
cause of your heart disease.
Until you realize that the only way to health and longevity
is by changing
your diet
and that medications treat nothing but symptoms, you will continue to
head down a path that does not lead to health and longevity.
The best diet for
heart disease will in many cases call for a
complete change in your
current eating habits. However, if you are willing to follow
it then you will
