By "junk food" we are referring to other snack food
options besides the
standard old fruits and vegetables..And there are numerous options. So
to save a mile long list simply
remember these two guidelines...
Nothing artificial
There are many health food stores that provide many snack options
(chips, cookies, cake, ice cream) that are free from artificial
ingredients.
Stay away from
"all natural"
Many of the healthy snack options out there will try to deceive you by
claiming to be "all natural". All natural means absolutely nothing! An
ingredient can be grown naturally and then be chemically altered before
placed in your food. Consume snacks that are made of completely organic
ingredients.
Following these guidelines will allow you to indulge yourself a little.
Remember however that junk food, even if it's healthy, doesn't take the
place of a balanced diet.
