Think
you're safe just because you eat foods low in carbs?
If
you answered yes, then this article will be a real shocker for you.
Here's
why. I'm going to reveal exactly why low carb foods can be
among the biggest fat producing culprits of all!
So
read every word of this article very carefully because this is most
likely new to you.
Let's begin.
"Low
carb" this. "Low carb" that.
It's all you
hear about these days.
Every diet promotes eating
foods with little carbohydrate content. Why? I've
come to realize much of it is just gimmick. Totally unbacked
by solid evidence.
Yes. Of course. Foods
low in carbs are proven to be excellent for losing weight.
But,
you must choose the correct ones.
And that is a big
"but".
Cold hard fact is that most people haven't
the slightest idea what the "right ones" actually are. This,
of course, can be deadly given the fact that we live in a world of food
filled with many "silent killers".
Take for instance
that chicken breast you ate earlier this week.
Zero
carbs. Not a single one of the little buggers. Must
be excellent for weight loss right?
Well...
yes and no.
Most chicken is so polluted with so many
growth hormones and other "silent killers" that a true "long term"
answer is no. Unfortunately this is not quickly made evident.
After all... eating chicken breast every day for the next
week will certainly cause you to lose weight, but getting all the
contaminates will eventually catch up with you.
Slowly
over time they will ruin your metabolism and the tides will turn.
That
my friend, is the problem with the whole "low carb" craze. No
distinction is made between completely natural and not.
So
here is a list of great foods low in carbs...
-
Chicken breast
- Sirloin beef
-
Spinach
- Pork
- Kale
-
Salmon
There are many others.
All
these have zero "starchy" carbs.
And if you consume
them in there most natural state. Void of chemical
contamination. They will work wonders.
But
if you consume them straight from your super market shelf then they
could catch up with you.
And while I've been accused
of it in the past... none of this is meant as to scare you.
Simply to inform. The growth and processing
practices are key when choosing food.
And yes, I
have discussed this extensively in the past, but people just don't seem
to get it. The food you eat is the most important factor when
it comes to your weight and health... Period!
It
makes no difference is you are eating all foods low in carbs or not.
