Fiber and Weight Loss

Many studies have shown that fiber and weight loss are indeed connected. That those who consume a high fiber diet are slimmer, healthier people. There are several reasons for this...

Fiber...

1. Allows digested food to move more easily through the colon.

2. Helps reduce the absorption rate of fat.

Fiber is unique in the sense that your body is not able to digest it. Instead of being absorbed into the bloodstream and used as energy, fiber passes directly through the body.
