Suffering From Extreme Fatigue?

Although many have struggled to draw a connection, the effects of obesity certainly include extreme fatigue...Also referred to as chronic fatigue.

Try picking up a 10 pound weight and carrying it with you for an entire day.  Do you think you would get tired from the excess weight? How about if you did the same thing with a 25 pound weight? What about a 50 pound?

  • What about the fact that the extra fat impairs your ability to move freely? When you try to bend your joints you are constantly fighting/pushing against an excess of fat.  This causes muscle strain resulting in fatigue.
  • And perhaps the forgotten reason is the avoidance of physical activity...Exercise!  Overweight people tend to be tired so often that they avoid doing other physical activities that promote health.  Being tired all the time is a factor that keeps people from exercise and thus keeps them overweight...
