I get an endless supply of email from people
ranting and raving (basically whining) telling me that they can't lose
weight. Telling me that they've done everything.
That they exercise like crazy and still don't get results.
Hell,
the vast majority of men and women in my own family say the same things.
I
can't tell you how many times people sit around "bull-shitting"
themselves about walking and other exercises they are trying to lose
weight.
All you need to do is look at the results. If
you've been doing it for months-on-end without losing much weight, then
NEWSFLASH - it's not working!
Anyway...
...
I could go into a big long rant here, but I won't. Instead,
I'm simply going to let you read a portion of an original article I
wrote on the subject of exercises to lose weight fast.
I
believe it will seriously
help you. In fact, I guarantee it will help you!
But only if you actually apply it.

to Lose Weight Fast.
It
is based not only on my own personal experience (That of losing 30lbs
and burning hoards of stomach fat)... but also on what I have witnessed
from others.
The
bottom line is... that if you need to lose weight fast, then this will
be
one of the most important articles you read because it will help you
avoid pointless struggles. Chances are that the very
exercises you continue to do are on the list and you will be able to
stop
doing them and focus on something that actually works.
Best
Exercises To Lose Weight Fast
What
is the best one? That is a trick-question. The
truth is nobody can say for sure what the best exercises really are.
All I can tell you is what I've personally discovered based
upon my own experience. Years of it. If you're
exercising right now and losing 2 or more pounds each week (of fat, not
water), then you're obviously doing something right. And as
the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Although,
if you keep reading I'll tell you how you can certainly enhance those
results.
One
last thing before we get started...
Allow me to
point out the word "fast" in the title of this article. This
list is for those who need to lose weight fast. If
you have no desire to shed pounds and inches of fat at lightning speed,
then you need not read any further.
Reason
is, that any exercise, over time, will most likely give you some
results.
But
if you need those results quick, then from what I've seen, you should
not focus all your energy on the following 5 exercises to lose
weight fast...
Whether
on the treadmill or around the block, walking is a very low intensity
workout that just doesn't have the firepower to melt away pounds of fat
quickly.
Ask yourself two simple questions:
How long have I been walking? Have I lost any
weight doing it?
2. Running
Although
a
step up from walking, running long distance is a monotonous exercise
and like walking, it only involves a very limited number of muscle
groups.
I am actually of the opinion that running
each and every day begins to wear on your joints and cause issues in
the future. That's why I don't do it. Plus, there
are simply far better exercises to lose weight fast.
3.
Biking
Once
again,
sitting down and peddling a bike greatly limits the amount of fat you
can burn because it doesn't involve the entire body. (I will
get to this in a second)
4.
Sit-ups, crunches or other ab exercises
As
long as
I've lived, I've never known a single person to lose any substantial
weight performing ab exercises. In my opinion, these are the
worst exercises to lose weight.
Truth is, they don't
do a whole lot for your midsection either.
5.
Those silly
leg
lifts you do on your bedroom floor
You
could do a
thousand of these exercises and never shed one ounce of fat.
So
there was the list.
There is one common theme that
runs throughout these five things. That theme is... these
exercises do not involve the entire body to any great extent.
I'm
not telling you that these exercises won't give you some
results. All I'm saying here is that you will have to
exercise for hours upon hours if you ever hope to lose weight doing
these things.
The
point is... your time is better spend on others.
Your
main goal should be to lose as much weight as possible, as fast as
possible... sweating the least amount!
And in order
to do that you need to be performing the best exercises to lose weight
fast.
Here are two exercises to lose weight fast
that work quick miracles...
1.
Weight
lifting / Muscle Development
An optimal
routine will involve
both upper
and lower body.
As odd as it may seem, I've lost far
more fat with my total body weight lifting routine than I've ever lost
with the typical cardio exercises. The reason is simple,
muscle burns fat.
Now. I realize that
you've heard this a thousand times. But it's the truth.
It's what you'd call a scientific fact my friend.
Here's
what I tell all my clients...
... if you ain't
lifting weights or at least doing something to build muscle, you're
seriously cheating yourself out of the body that could be yours.
Allow
me to make a simple illustration here...
... Many
many women (the vast majority) will look at the photo above and
jealously proclaiming that somehow "this isn't what real women look
like". That only a very small fraction of women have the
"genetics" to have a body like that.
Allow me to say
this ever so bluntly: THAT IS B.S.!!
The
truth is that most women (and men) are just lazy asses.
The
photo above is of fitness model Jamie Eason. She's 5'2".
Hardly what you'd call "supermodel" height! There
is nothing special about here genetics as far as I have read, and you
can read a whole lot about her at bodybuilder.com.
You
want to know the truth about how she got that body?
Two
words. Weight Lifting. Lots and lots and lots of it.
If
you doubt that I'm speaking the truth, simply Google her and do your
own research.
Like I said. The cold hard
fact is that most women (and the majority of men) are just plain lazy.
I'm telling you like it is. I have found the best
exercises to lose weight fast and get a smokin body revolve around
lifting weights... period!
Not walking around the
block because you've had a long day and don't feel like going to the
gym to get a real workout in. That's just and excuse!
Oh.
By the way. She is over 30!
2.
A
total body
workout like P90X or some other variation
There
are
three primary reasons why P90 X and other such workouts are among the
best exercises to lose weight fast.
First
and foremost, they involve the entire body... meaning that all muscle
groups are forced to work. This is extremely beneficial for
burning the most fat.
Secondly, they force you to
exert more energy.
As a result, you will burn more
fat off your midsection and every other area of your body.
A
third benefit that is often overlooked is that these exercises to lose
weight fast
build lean muscle. And lean muscle is
absolutely essential if you hope to transform your body because muscle
burns a lot of fat. (once again, this is an absolute
scientific fact).
Actually, in my opinion, there is
a 4th reason why total body exercises like P90X are so wickedly
effective... they are continuous. That means, once
you begin you don't stop for a long rest until you're done.
For all you lazy people reading this... these exercises make
you actually work for an extended period of time.
Something
that walking around the block just can't do.
Anyway.
These are my thoughts on the best exercises to lose weight
fast.

I realize that most of you probably equate this with those pumped
up muscle heads you see on bodybuilding magazines. And while the
truth is, it's a typical exercise amongst "meat heads" at the
