Drink
Water to Lose WeightStartling
insights about
dehydration, body fat and why you must drink water to lose weight.
If
you can't lose weight than this will be some pretty interesting stuff
for you.
I realize that you hear everybody talking
about water and how it will affect your results.
Honestly, I get sick and tired of all of it myself because
most of it just amounts to squawking.
But
here's the truth...
... Drinking water is one of the
single most important things you must do to get thin and exponentially
increase your health. Seriously. There is just no way around
it.
Watch this video and prepare
to be SHOCKED at just how much you should be drinking...
Let
me ask you honestly...
... have you ever been told
to drink water to lose weight? If so, how much?
I mean, half your body weight in ounces of water each day!
According to Dr. B. from the video, that's how much you should be drinking.
But
here's the issue - The
standard recommendation by experts is eight, 8 ounce glasses. The
problem is if you weigh over 130 pounds this can become inadequate.
And yet, I'd be willing to bet you don't even drink that much!
Most of us don't.
I
just don't think a lot of people realize the extremely negative impacts
that dehydration is having on their body's. If you question
this,
then you should take a look at Dr. B's site www.watercure.com.
Especially listen to the interview he
does with Tony Robbins.
Fascinating stuff and brilliant insight into why you must drink water to lose weight.
But
what I really want to drive home is the fact that...
Not
Drinking Enough Water Destroys Your Metabolism.Something I
discussed on the home page of this website was a discovery made by Dr.
B.
According
to him, if your body lacks water than what you eat will not be utilized
completely. The reason is simple, the food you consume needs
water do digest. It's called the process of hydrolysis - the
break down of food because of water.
The
issue is that when the food is not metabolized completely, it becomes
toxic, impartially digested waste. This can become abnormal
fat!
Now, I realize that the term "metabolism" gets
used frequently, but I find that many people don't know exactly what it
is.
Basically, metabolism
is the body's breaking down of food for energy.
Every
single organ in your body takes part in the metabolization process.
They
all need loads of WATER!
For example...
...
One
of the livers primary functions is to metabolize fat. It converts
fat into the energy the body uses. If you are dehydrated your liver
will not function efficiently and you won't
efficiently remove the fat from your body. If
you can't efficiently remove fat from your body, your weight loss
will be a struggle!
Lack of water doesn't just affect the burning of fat. If you don't
drink water to lose weight the removal of waste from
your body will be
negatively impacted.
Losing Weight Is Like Construction And Water Is The Main ToolHave
you ever visited a construction site?
There
is a
lot of building and
a lot of waste generated as a result.
It's on the ground, in dumpsters...Everywhere! Imagine if the
waste was not continually disposed of.
When you are
losing weight your
body is metabolizing the stored fat
(burning it off) and eliminating it from the body. During the fat
burning process there
is waste generated, just like that construction site.
If you don't drink enough water it would be the same as not
continually removing the dumpsters on site.
The waste
will not be removed and it will begin to pile up.
What
happens when it piles up?
The same thing that happens when the waste around
the construction site
piles up... The building process is slowed down. The ever increasing
waste produces a harsh weight loss environment.
Other Reasons You Should Drink Water To Lose Weight.Water
is a natural appetite suppressant.
Studies have
shown that
your body does not distinguish between needing more water
and needing more food. When your body is telling you that you are
hungry, it may actually be trying to tell you that you
are thirsty.
Another reason you should drink water
to lose weight is because dehydration
leads to water retention. If you do not get enough water
your body will store it.
This is something I found
absolutely fascinating:
Water Lowers Cholesterol.
According
to Dr.B (I discuss him in more depth on the home page), high
cholesterol levels are simply an early warning signal that your body is
lacking water. Did you know that Cholesterol is a substance
similar to clay that is used by the body to fill the gaps of some cell
membranes to protect them against losing crucial water content.
This
means that when your body is dehydrated, your cholesterol levels rise!
Did you get that!?
Basically I could go on and on here.
Listen.
It's really quite simple. You must drink water to lose weight.
It's your best friend
guys!
I realize you hear this so many times, but it
really is the truth. I hope this message has "hit home".
What
Type Of Water Should You DrinkI've
had a few people ask me this question and the answer is simple...
...
you want to drink the purest water you can find.
Look
guys. There is an easy solution to this. I realize that many
of you live in the city and only have access to "tap" water.
I don't recommend you drink this do to high concentrations of
chlorine and other chemicals that, over time, absolutely will
negatively impact your health.
Your body is over 70% water.
If that water has come from chemically laced sources, it's only common sense that it will affect your health.
I have a BRITA
filter. Here's the photo...
Here's
a photo of my water filter. I recommend drinking purified to
eliminate as much chemical content as you can. FORGIVE the
mess - I forgot to take out my pickle jar in the back by the
toaster! Now. A filter is certainly isn't a
perfect solution, but it's better than not having one in my opinion.
In ConclusionThere are three main points here guys...
- Drink
half your body weight in ounces of water each day. This means that if
you weigh 200 pounds, you should be drinking at least 100 ounces.
- Yes,
you must drink water to lose weight, but you also must drink it to
guard against disease. Research has shown this.
- Use a filter to make sure your water is as pure as possible.
I hope you found this information useful.
-Jason
P.S. Here's something SHOCKING...
... Over 70% of the people in the U.S. are overweight. Studies show this.
The
amazing thing is that research has shown that over 70% of the people
are also dehydrated! There is definitely a correlation here guys.
Bottom line, you must drink water to lose weight. Loads of it!
