Cinnamon And Weight Loss

Why are cinnamon and weight loss related.

It has to do with your blood sugar.

You see...

One of the single greatest causes of obesity... your excess body fat... are sporadic blood sugar spikes.

Basically, when you eat quick absorbing carbs like pasta and bread, these foods go into your system and cause the sugar in your blood to rise.

These sporadic rises and falls trigger a whole slew of side-effects...

-  Lack of energy
-  Diabetes

And yes... lots of fat.

Now... the primary culprits here are heavily refined carbs.

Which, unfortunately make up the bulk of the food found in most super-markets.

Things like boxed cereals, white bread (and wheat), pastas.  If it has been heavily refined chances are it will cause abnormal blood sugar spikes and lead to obesity.

Here's where cinnamon comes in...

Studies have show that when you add cinnamon to these refined foods, and other carbs... it actually guards against these spikes.

It can be used in it's powdered form.

Pretty simple really.

Just add it to the food that you consume.

Now.  This doesn't mean that you can go off and eat whatever you want.

But it may help you lose weight.
