If you answered yes, then this will
be one of the greatest short articles you'll read.
Here's
why. I'm going to explain to you exactly why anything in
excess of moderation is a bad choice.
Especially if
you are trying to lose weight.
Let's begin.
Ok.
So the following is a list of calories in some of the most
popular sodas...
- (12 fl oz) Dr
Pepper contains 155 calories
- (12 fl oz)
Pepsi contains 155 calories
- (12 fl oz) 7Up
contains 145 calories
- (12 fl oz) Root Beer
contains 152 calories
- (12 fl oz) Creme Soda
contains 189 calories
- (12 fl oz) Coca-Cola Soda
contains 155 calories
Doesn't seem like
much - right?
And it isn't. The real
problem lies in the type of calories.
Sodas are
practically all sugar. Unfortunately most of the brand names
are not made with natural forms. The sugar they use are high
fructose corn syrup and other "modified" versions.
The
modified sugar in soda causes extreme blood sugar spikes and studies
indicate such spikes are major contributors to excess body fat storage.
Not to mention a slew of other diseases.
The
bottom line here is...
If you drink the calories in soda then do so
in extreme moderation. Especially if you are trying to lose
weight.

P.S.
And for those of you who think diet soda is far better
because it has virtually no calories. THINK AGAIN!
Diet
soda is most likely far worse of a fat producing culprit.
I
refer to it as poison... but that is a subject for a different article.
