There is no once size fits all.
Your body has a structure. Your bones create that
structure and muscle and fat just follow that base.
So
there is no one size fits all.
The correct
distribution for you is the one that looks the best.
Follow
me now...
Your body does need fat. It
makes your body have a much nicer flow.
The only
reason you'd be out of proportion is if body fat is located in
excess amounts in certain areas.
So, for
instance...
If you are bigger around the waist than
your type indicates then you are out of proportion.
But
oddly enough... I know of no way to spot target that excess fat.
What
people don't consider is when they fix the root cause of the
disproportion then their entire body will even out.
It's
all connected.
So you don't need to begin doing lots
of crunches to fix your stomach and lots of squats to fix your hips.
If
you program you metabolic rate to operate faster, then everything else
will respond accordingly. Your body fat distribution will
even out.
So this might mean going to the gym 7 days
a week.
It might mean keeping your butt off the
couch.
Or it may mean something else.
My
point is... if you increase metabolism... the use of energy... and you
keep it increased, then your body fat will all even out according to
your natural shape. Your bone structure.
