Combining Best
Abdominal Exercises For Maximum Results
What
are the best abdominal exercises?
Simple.
They
are the ones that target each spot of your abs.
Get
this...
Crunches are an "upper" ab exercise.
So if you are unhappy with your lower abdominals, but are trying
to fix them doing crunches, then you are probably not going to be
satisfied.
Back in the day I did not realize this,
so I would waste my time doing lots of crunches and never seeing the
results I wanted.
Can you relate?
Of
course you can.
Lot's of work with no results.
So listen carefully...
My point is
simple and it will maximize your success.
There probably is no one best abdominal
exercise. Why? Because I can't think of one that
targets each section of your abs at once. And that's the goal right?
I mean, if the complete package isn't looking good, then
why waste your time?
So what I teach my clients is
to
combine three exercises each time they work their abdominals.
And
it's
very easy to do.
Here's what I mean...
Let's
say you work out three days a week.
Ok. So
a great way to do it would be to do crunches (upper abs), hanging leg
lifts
(lower abs) and ab twists (obliques) one day. If you like to
"spice it up" then you could come back and do situps on ball (upper),
knee ups (lower) and then side crunches (obliques) the next... but it's
not necessary.
Honestly, simple is better.
You
don't need a crazy Einstein assortment here. I know that you
think more is better, but it's not. So listen up o confused
one!
Just find three that you
really like... one for each of the three groups, and get
really great at doing those over and over again every time you work abdominals.
That's
it. It will work if you are consistent... period.
