for the Best Ab Exercise?
The
very idea of a
"best ab exercise" can be misleading.
There are some who think that you can get washboard
abs from doing
sit-ups and crunches alone. I would
not totally disagree. You can get tone abs from such
exercises, but just
because you get
them doesn't mean that
you can see them...
You probably find it hard to believe that you even
have
abdominal
muscles, after they
have been seemingly non-existent for a long time. They're
there! They are just buried under a layer of fat.
"So
how do I remove the fat and get tone abs?"
As nice as it
seems, you can't just tell your body to remove
fat in one
area. The only way to spot target fat is liposuction, which I would
never recommend.
If you are looking for tone abs,
a combination of aerobic and anaerobic
exercise is the best solution. Aerobic exercises such as
running, biking and swimming are great fat
burning exercises. These exercises will
help to burn that fat off the midsection.
When it comes to toning, anaerobic exercises are
better.
Exercises such
as crunches and sit-ups are examples
of anaerobic. However, there are many other great toning exercises out
there. Mixed programs, such as Tae-Bo, are excellent for
getting a
shaped-up
midsection because they combine toning and fat burning.
If
you are searching for the best ab exercise then think
toning and fat
burning. These two aspects will go a long
way toward achieving those tone abs.
